Web Desk: A suicide bomber detonated explosives near the main entrance of a police station in northwestern Swat district on Sunday evening, injuring multiple people and raising fears of fatalities, according to preliminary official information.
The explosion occurred at approximately 6:15 pm local time outside Kabal police station, where police personnel and civilians were present.
Initial reports indicated that a local peace gathering was taking place in the vicinity when the attacker detonated the explosives.
Authorities said the blast affected both civilians participating in the event and police officers stationed near the entrance to the police station.
