Pakistan Muslim League (N) Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar has responded sarcastically after actress Arooba Mirza allegedly shared screenshots of old messages purportedly exchanged with him.
A few days earlier, Arooba Mirza posted screenshots on Instagram that she claimed were old messages from Chadhar. Alongside the screenshots, the actress wrote: “Momina Iqbal, Syeda Tuba, and now me too.” Breaking his silence, the MPA responded by criticizing the actress and rejecting the claims.
In an Instagram Story, Chadhar denied the allegations, saying the messages had been sent from a fake account using his name. He maintained that he personally operates only his official account.
Chadhar further stated that Arooba Mirza had never been significant in his life and that there had never been any relationship between them that could be portrayed in the manner suggested.
He added that while disagreements or rivalries are part of life, “even your enemies should have some class” and should come from respectable families.
The exchange has since sparked discussion on social media, where users are debating the competing claims made by both sides.
It is worth noting that Saqib Chadhar is already facing another controversy, in which actress and TV host Syeda Tuba alleged that he offered her an iPhone as a gift. Momina Iqbal has also accused the lawmaker of cyberstalking, harassment, blackmail, and issuing threats after she rejected his marriage proposal.
Following the alleged messages shared by Aruba Mirza, debate over the matter has intensified on social media. However, the allegations made by Aruba Mirza, Momina Iqbal, and Syeda Tuba remain part of ongoing legal and judicial proceedings and have not been proven in court.
