Mobile package prices have increased by 19% to 33% on a yearly basis.
Mobile network operators have increased the prices of call and data packages after receiving approval from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
On an annual basis, mobile package prices have risen by 19% to 33%, while the prices of monthly call and data packages have increased by up to Rs500.
The prices of 15-day call and data packages have gone up by as much as Rs300, while weekly hybrid packages are now up to Rs130 more expensive.
The prices of three-day mobile packages have increased by up to Rs21, two-day packages by up to Rs20, and one-day hybrid packages by Rs5.
The PTA has published new tariff sheets for 15 hybrid and data-only packages on its website.
The updated tariff sheets include the current package prices offered by mobile operators, quarterly tariffs, validity periods, and complete details of the services provided to subscribers.
The authority said the initiative is meant to assist mobile users compare available packages and make informed decisions based on the latest pricing trends.
PTA has requested consumers to regularly visit the Consumer Awareness section of its website, as well as the websites of mobile operators, for updated tariff information and package price trends.
