Web Desk: A young entrepreneur Jayant Kumar from Karachi has secured first place at an international business competition hosted by Harvard University, marking a significant achievement for the country’s emerging innovation sector.

Jayant Kumar impressed an international panel of judges representing some of the world’s leading companies with a business concept designed to accelerate and simplify research through artificial intelligence.

Kumar said his award-winning proposal focused on using artificial intelligence to streamline the research process, making it faster and more accessible for users.

The competition brought together participants from around the world, with entries evaluated by judges affiliated with major multinational companies.

Meanwhile, Kumar said the Harvard victory builds on two years of competing in international contests, during which he has earned multiple awards for his entrepreneurial ideas.

He added that the latest recognition reflects the growing potential of young Pakistani innovators to compete on the global stage.

Furthermore, Kumar said he plans to participate in another international competition next year. He expressed confidence that he would once again represent Pakistan and showcase the country’s talent before a global audience.

Pakistan has seen increasing participation by young entrepreneurs in international innovation and startup competitions, reflecting a broader interest in technology-driven solutions and entrepreneurship among the country’s youth.
