The Pakistani passport has climbed three places to 100th in the latest 2026 Henley Passport Index. Which 30 countries can Pakistani citizens now visit visa-free?
According to the latest Henley Passport Index 2026 rankings, the Pakistani passport has improved significantly, moving up three places to 100th, compared to 103rd last year.
The report states that, following this improvement, Pakistani passport holders can now travel to 30 countries without a visa (visa-free or visa-on-arrival).
This is the first time since 2015 that the Pakistani passport has regained the 100th position.
Based on IATA data, the global index ranks the Singapore passport as the world’s most powerful, with visa-free access to 192 destinations.
It is followed by the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and South Korea, jointly in second place, whose citizens enjoy visa-free access to 188 destinations. Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan remain at the bottom of the rankings.
List of Visa-Free and Visa-on-Arrival Countries for Pakistani Citizens
Pakistani passport holders can travel to 30 countries either without a visa or by obtaining a visa on arrival.
These include:
Asia and the Middle East: Nepal, Maldives, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and Timor-Leste.
Africa: Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Seychelles, Somalia, and Madagascar.
Caribbean and Others: Barbados, Dominica, Haiti, and Trinidad and Tobago.
In addition, more than 50 countries, including Türkiye, Malaysia, Thailand, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, also offer online e-visa facilities to Pakistani citizens.
