Islamabad: Sensational revelations have emerged from Usman Ali, the Member of the National Assembly who recently left Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
According to private TV channel ARY News, Usman Ali, who won the election on a PTI ticket before recently joining PML-N, leveled serious allegations against PTI’s top leadership during a bombshell interview.
In an exclusive interview with ARY News, Usman Ali exposed what he described as the PTI leadership’s “fixed-match politics,” saying, “The PTI leadership sold us out, and it appears they had a fixed match somewhere. That is why we were deliberately declared independents.”
The MNA also shed light on internal party decisions and the issue of reserved seats, admitting that he seeks forgiveness from the nation and from Allah Almighty for violating his oath.
During the interview, Usman Ali directly targeted PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and made several important revelations.
The lawmaker said, “We submitted our affidavit to Barrister Gohar, but he never submitted it to the Election Commission.”
He stated that when he asked Barrister Gohar to include them in the Sunni Ittehad Council, he was told, “You should remain independent and enjoy yourselves.”
He further said that when discussions were taking place regarding 41 and 39 members, they had again asked Barrister Gohar not to keep them independent, but five MNAs, including them, were left independent while all others were made part of the Sunni Ittehad Council.
Usman Ali also made the startling claim that some of his own PTI colleagues had asked him to arrange contact with PML-N, but he had refused at the time.
