Web Desk: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department has announced summer vacation schedules for schools across the province, with separate timelines issued for summer and winter zones.
According to an official notification released by the department, primary schools located in the Summer Zone will remain closed from June 1 through Aug. 31 for summer holidays.
Meanwhile, middle schools in the same zone will begin vacations later, with closures scheduled from June 15 to Aug. 31.
In contrast, authorities assigned a shorter break for institutions operating in the Winter Zone. Under the schedule, all schools in those areas will remain closed from July 1 to July 31.
The education department said the revised calendar was issued through the office of the Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education, outlining academic closures in view of seasonal weather conditions across the province.
