My name is still in the record list of the Public Service Commission, but I never received the appointment order, says an affected candidate
Large-scale recruitments of fake teachers by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission have been revealed in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department.
The Education Department has started a formal inquiry against 436 teachers recruited in the last year of the Awami National Party (ANP) government in 2012.
According to official documents, these fake recruitments were revealed when the seniority list of teachers was being prepared in the Education Department.
During the investigation, it was found that other people were recruited in place of the original candidates by allegedly changing the original list provided by the Public Service Commission.
In view of this suspicious situation, the education department has stopped the promotion of these teachers and has formed a 4-member high-level investigation committee to get to the bottom of the matter.
Sources say that the original candidates included in the Public Service Commission’s recommendation list were waiting for their appointments for 14 years, who have now come to know that someone else is working in their place.
On the other hand, the Public Service Commission, the current provincial education minister and former education minister during the ANP era, Sardar Hussain Babak, have so far remained silent on this big scandal and have avoided giving any position.
