PIA introduces special discounted fare scheme for Pakistani passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has introduced a special discount scheme aimed at reducing travel costs for Pakistani passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia.
According to private TV reports, PIA officials said that a large number of passengers traveling from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia use the Riyadh and Dammam routes. Therefore, this discount has specifically been allocated for these flights.
The initiative is intended to provide financial relief to overseas Pakistanis and travelers so they can travel at lower fares. Under this scheme, passengers will receive a significant reduction in ticket prices, which is expected to particularly benefit the working class and overseas Pakistani community.
PIA stated that the move comes at a time when international travel costs have been continuously rising, and passengers are actively looking for more affordable travel options.
PIA officials further stated that the scheme has been designed to ease the financial burden on passengers who frequently travel for work, especially those employed in Saudi Arabia’s labour services. They added that the airline is focusing on routes with consistently high demand to ensure maximum benefit.
The PIA authorities expressed hope that further relief offers may be introduced on other Middle East routes if this initiative receives a positive heed from travelers. The move is part of the efforts of the authorities to make national air travel more competitive amid rising international ticket prices.
