Indian sports presenter Sahiba Bali has come under intense criticism on social media after an old video of her praising Pakistanis resurfaced online.

In the viral clip, Sahiba Bali is seen recalling her visit to Pakistan during her childhood. She described the experience as “eye-opening,” saying it changed her perception of the country.

She shared that prior to her visit, her understanding of Pakistan was shaped largely by media portrayals, films, and cricket matches. However, after visiting cities like Lahore and Karachi, her views shifted significantly.

“Pakistanis are very loving people,” she said in the interview, adding that locals warmly welcomed them upon learning they were from India.

Following the video’s resurgence, several social media users in India criticized her remarks, with some even calling for action against her. The reaction highlights ongoing sensitivities and polarized opinions surrounding cross-border narratives.
