Tehran: Reports have been received that Israel has carried out attacks on Iran’s energy installations.
According to details, despite an announcement by Donald Trump not to target Iran’s energy facilities, Israel proceeded with strikes on such sites.
According to Geo News, Israel targeted one power plant, two steel factories, and one civilian nuclear facility in Iran.
On the other hand, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed the attack, stating that Israel claims the strikes were carried out in coordination with the United States. He added that Iran would exact a heavy price for what he called Israeli crimes.
Against this backdrop, any direct or indirect strike on sensitive infrastructure—especially energy and nuclear facilities—marks a serious escalation, raising fears of a wider regional conflict.
It is worth noting that earlier, President Donald Trump had announced a 10-day delay in any attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure.
