India, home to more than 1.5 billion people, relies heavily on a steady supply of petrol, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and compressed natural gas (CNG) to meet its vast energy needs. Any disruption or perceived shortage tends to amplify public anxiety quickly.
Moreover, the recent surge in fuel prices has intensified criticism of the government’s energy policies. Some citizens questioned the timing of major expenditures and raised concerns about affordability and access to essential fuels.
