Tehran: Israeli airstrikes targeted areas near the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran, but all diplomatic staff remained safe.
According to diplomatic sources, an Iranian military facility of Artesh is located opposite the embassy, while Pakistan’s Ambassador Mudassir Tipu resides in an area administered by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Sources stated that heavy bombardment took place around 8 PM in both areas, with loud explosions heard across the vicinity. However, the Pakistani Embassy and the ambassador’s residence remained unharmed.
Diplomatic officials confirmed that Ambassador Mudassir Tipu and around 20 staff members are completely safe and continue to perform their duties as usual.
A senior diplomat said that although the staff was alarmed by the intensity of the blasts, all personnel are safe and carrying out their responsibilities despite the tense situation.
