Pakistan did not impose any war on Afghanistan; rather, the war on terrorism was imposed on us. Pakistan is fighting war on terror as part of world’s struggle to eliminate terror.

According to DGISPR , Thousands of our children have been martyred, and the fight against terrorism, which the people of Pakistan have fought, is unmatched anywhere in the world.

Director General ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry further stated that war has been imposed on us and we will now make those responsible pay the price. Our operations are organized. We have no issues with our Afghan brothers; they themselves are enduring the Taliban’s oppression.

“The Afghan people are themselves at the mercy of the Taliban. Those who are setting the rules of this war have no connection with Islam,” said the DG ISPR.

The DG ISPR stated that a military and drone storage facility in Kabul was targeted. He rejected the claims made by Afghan Taliban and others, saying they are baseless and that Pakistan has evidence.

The military spokesperson also alleged that Afghan Taliban gather drug addicts and use them in terrorism.

Responding to a question about civilian casualties, he said that more than half of the militants and Taliban operate in civilian clothes, which leads to such allegations.
