Islamabad: Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has clarified the facts regarding the recent attack in Kabul.

According to DG ISPR, the main target of the operation was a Taliban weapons and drone depot. He emphasized that reports of civilian casualties are completely unfounded and contrary to reality. The intensity and succession of explosions observed after the attack, he noted, confirmed the presence of a large quantity of arms and munitions at the site.

DG ISPR further stated that there are deliberate attempts to misrepresent the incident to distort facts. Ground evidence confirms that the location targeted was of a military nature, storing weapons and advanced drone aircraft.

He also highlighted concerning aspects of Taliban operations: many Taliban fighters wear civilian clothing instead of military uniforms, and drug-addicted individuals are reportedly used for suicide missions.

Addressing regional tensions, DG ISPR claimed that drones used against Pakistan are being supplied to the Afghan Taliban by India, exacerbating instability in the region. He clarified that Pakistan holds no enmity toward the Afghan people, who are themselves trapped at the hands of terrorist elements.
