Web Desk: An Iranian news agency has published a report that raised speculation about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The report discussed claims that he may have been injured or killed. However the report did not present any confirmed evidence to support this claim.

According to the report Iran news agency Tasnim News suggested that recent developments created uncertainty about Netanyahu status. The article pointed to the absence of new public videos of the Israeli prime minister. It also mentioned increased security around his residence and the postponement of several diplomatic meetings.

The report also referred to a statement from former United States intelligence officer Scott Ritter. He claimed that Iran targeted a possible location linked to Netanyahu during a recent strike. The statement also claimed that Netanyahu brother died in that attack. Tasnim News itself admitted that no official confirmation or denial exists for this claim.

Available information shows that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released an official statement on March seven. Israeli officials also said that he visited the site of an attack in the city of Beersheba on March six.

Israeli authorities have previously rejected similar reports and described them as false information. Analysts say that during times of conflict rumors and incomplete information often spread quickly which can lead to conspiracy theories and confusion.
