Diplomatic activity has also increased during the conflict. Trump held a phone call with Vladimir Putin. According to the Kremlin both leaders discussed the war involving Iran and the overall situation in the region.
Consultations are also taking place among the G7 countries. These talks focus on the possible post war situation and the impact on the global economy.
Defense experts describe Trump’s statement as an attempt to create psychological advantage. However the situation on the ground remains complex.
Iranian officials including Abbas Araghchi continue to warn about possible surprises. Their statements suggest that Iran could continue resistance for a longer period.
