Tehran: The Pakistan Embassy in Iran has urged Pakistani citizens stranded in the country to register with the embassy to ensure smooth and timely arrangements for their return home.

Amid ongoing bus shortages and other logistical challenges, Pakistan’s Ambassador Mudassar Tipu tweeted requesting Pakistani nationals, especially those residing in Qom, to cooperate and complete their registration promptly. He emphasized that once registered, the embassy will make all necessary arrangements for their departure without delay.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, advised overseas Pakistanis to remain patient, disciplined, and responsible amid current regional tensions. He also warned the community not to believe rumors circulating on social media and to rely only on official information sources.

In recent weeks, regional tensions and logistical challenges in neighboring countries have complicated the travel plans of Pakistani citizens abroad. The government has urged all overseas nationals to stay in contact with embassies to ensure their safety and receive timely updates regarding repatriation and travel arrangements.
