PCB announces players for upcoming Bangladesh series

Web desk: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming one-day international series against Bangladesh.

Shahid Afridi will continue to lead the team in the three-match ODI series scheduled from March 11 to March 15 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

The PCB confirmed that the squad includes a mix of experienced players and emerging talent, providing depth in both batting and bowling departments. The 15-member team is as follows: Shaheen Afridi (captain), Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Faisal Akram, Haris Rauf, Hussain Talat, Moaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Rizwan (wicketkeeper), Mohammad Wasim Jr, Mohammad Ghazi Ghori (wicketkeeper), Saad Masood, Sahibzada Farhan, Salman Ali Agha and Shamil Hussian.

Officials highlighted that Pakistan is looking to build momentum ahead of future international tournaments while maintaining a competitive edge in the subcontinent conditions.

The series marks Pakistan’s return to Bangladesh after a previous T20 series, and cricket analysts predict keenly contested matches as both teams prepare to showcase their best lineups.
