US Iran peace talks

Washington: The White House has delivered a clear message to Iran, stating that the U.S. President has not only the option of diplomacy but several other options beyond it.

This statement comes at a time when important talks between the United States and Iran are scheduled to take place today in Muscat, the capital of Oman.

During a press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt adopted a tough tone, saying that President Trump is absolutely clear about his stance on Iran.

Trump once again issues an open warning to Khamenei: “Iran should be concerned”

She said that the President wants to assess whether a viable agreement with Iran is possible; however, the United States has full capability to pursue other paths to protect its interests.

Karoline Leavitt directly addressed the Iranian leadership, stating that the U.S. President is the Commander-in-Chief of the most powerful military in world history and is fully capable of exercising his constitutional powers.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry announced that Iran will participate in the nuclear talks in Muscat with full authority, aiming to reach a fair, mutually acceptable, and dignified agreement.
