There is a likelihood of an increase in the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan for the first fifteen days of February, OGRA has prepared a summary in this regard.
According to details, due to uncertainty in the global market, an increase in the prices of petroleum products is expected in Pakistan for the next fortnight in February.
Sources said that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has prepared a summary for revisions in petroleum product prices, which will be sent to the Minister for Finance on January 31.
After final approval by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Finance Minister will announce the new prices for the period from February 1 to February 15, while the summary of the new prices will be forwarded to the Petroleum Division tomorrow.
According to sources, an increase of Rs 9.47 per liter in the price of high-speed diesel and Rs 6.95 per liter in the price of light diesel oil has been proposed.
Similarly, the price of kerosene oil is likely to increase by Rs 3.69 per liter. However, a slight reduction in the price of petrol is expected, which could be up to Rs 0.36 per liter.
