Imran Khan is in good health: Atta Tarar

Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar conforming that PTI founding chairman Imran Khan was bought to PIMS hospital said that he is perfectly healthy with no serious health issue.


Speaking to the media Atta Tarar informed that a team of eye specialists examined the eyesight of the founding chairman of PTI at Adiala Jail.


He said that the medical experts had recommended that for a normal check up, it was necessary to take the PTI founding chairman to PIMS.


He further informed that on the recommendation of the doctors, the founding chairman was taken to PIMS late at night last week where a thorough examination of the PTI founding chairman was made.


Atta Tarar told the media that after obtaining his written consent, a medical examination lasting approximately 20 minutes was carried out, after which he was taken back to Adiala Jail with necessary medical instructions.
During the medical examination, the PTI founding chairman was in good health.


The minister for information made it clear that all prisoners are provided access to medical facilities in accordance with the rules and medical procedure was carried out on the recommendation of medical experts and with his consent.
