Web Desk: The advance American weapons left behind in Afghanistan after the US forces withdrawal have now become a serious threat to regional security.

The emerging continuous evidence has revealed that under the patronage of the Afghan Taliban regime, terrorist groups are using these weapons to carry out attacks in neighboring countries.

“The Pakistan-based terrorist organization TTP (Fitna al-Khawarij) is targeting Pakistan’s security forces and civilians using American weapons present in Afghanistan” added the Geopolitics.

The report said that advanced US weapons were used in various terrorist attacks carried out in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“The total value of US weapons present in Afghanistan exceeds seven billion dollars. These include M4 and M16 rifles, night vision devices, and other advanced military equipment, which are now in the hands of terrorist elements” the report further added.

The report also said that these American weapons are being openly sold on the black market in Afghanistan and allowing various terrorist networks easy access to them.

Pakistan has repeatedly presented its stance, supported by concrete evidence that terrorists are conducting cross-border attacks using US weapons left in Afghanistan.
