News Desk: Counsellor in Pakistan Mission to the United Nations, Gul Qaiser Sarwan, stressed that Kashmir has never been a part of India and never will be. He said that Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory.

Sarwani said by responding to remarks by the Indian representative at the UN, that even the passage of eight decades, the promise of the right to self-determination to the Kashmiri people has not been fulfilled. He accused that India is involved of supporting militant groups including the TTP, Fitna-al-Khawarij, and the BLA.

He further alleged that India is involved in cross-border terrorism and in targeted killings in various countries. He said India has repeatedly committed acts of aggression against Pakistan, saying that this is the clear violations of international law and the United Nations Charter.

Sarwani has demanded that India stop what he described as state-sponsored terrorism.

The Pakistani representative referring to India’s statements on the Indus Waters Treaty, said that New Delhi was deliberately misinterpreting and distorting facts on an international agreement.
