News Desk: The passport details of Indian origin Sajid Akram man involved in the Sydney attack, along with his son, have surfaced, raising fresh questions about the handling of the case by Indian authorities.

According to available documents the Indian a 10-year passport was issued to Sajid Akram by the Indian High Commission on February 24, 2022. According to details that the Indian embassy was aware of the attacker’s Indian citizenship from the first day following the incident.

That is alleged Indian authorities purposely covered these facts, allowing time for sections of the Indian media to blame Pakistan for the attack. After the incident, soon Indian media outlets reportedly ran deceptive reports portraying the attacker as Pakistani. As per critics the move was aimed at maligning Pakistan internationally.

Per the past developments a British newspaper reported in 2020 that Australia expelled two officials of India’s intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). That were linked to what Australian intelligence described as a nest of spies operating in the Australia. The report said that the expelled agents were involved in profiling members of the Indian community living in Australia.

Security analysts now said that both suspects involved in the Sydney attack may have links with Indian Intelligence Agency RAW and no official confirmation has been made.

It was also reported that Sajid Akram had recently travelled to the Philippines using his Indian passport days before the attack incident.
