DUBAI: In the high-voltage ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025, Pakistan bowled India out for a meagre 240. However, Pakistan still could not win. As Pakistan was bowled out on 150 runs at 41.2 overs.

Pakistan has won the toss and decided to field first against India. Both Pakistan and India had won their opening matches gaining two points.

Farhan Yousaf, Pakistan’s captain after winning the toss said that Pakistan will be bowling first, he observed that there was moisture on the pitch and wanted to utilize the opportunity. He emphasized that for his team it was a normal game and that there was no extra pressure. His initial plan was to restrict India to 200.

When Indian captain Ayush Mhatre was interviewed, he said that “We would have bowled first because of the moisture. We will have to stick to our plans and bat well. We are confident, having won the match comfortably. It is a normal match for us as we have played enough cricket”.

Pakistani bowling was successful in holding India at 240. However, Pakistani batting disappointed greatly. Only 3 Pakistani batsmen from the whole team were able to get past the 10-run mark. The only reason Pakistan even reached 150 runs was the face-saving innings by Huzaifa Ahsan who managed to score 70 runs.

The second highest score of Pakistani batting was 23 by the captain Farhan Yousaf.

In conclusion U-19 Pakistan cricket team lost an easy match.
