Web Desk: The first official trailer for Supergirl was released by DC Studios on December 11, 2025. The trailer introduced Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin. The trailer also teased Jason Momoa who previously played Aquaman as the anti-hero Lobo.

After a private Manhattan preview which was hosted by DC co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran, Milly Alcock and Director Craig Gillespie, the trailer premiered online.

The trailer opens with Supergirl in a dark room blowing out a birthday candle. The scene reflects her inner turmoil while Blondie’s “Call Me” is playing in the background.
