Pakistan stands with China in difficult times: Dar

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Sunday to discuss matters of mutual interest.

Dar offered condolences over the tragic killing of three Chinese nationals in Tajikistan near the Afghan border. He also extended sympathies for those affected by the recent fires at the Wang Fuk Court residential complex in Hong Kong. He said Pakistan stands in full solidarity with China during these difficult times.

Both sides also discussed Pakistan-China cooperation in various sectors, along with recent regional and international developments.

Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty said on Sunday that Egypt hopes Pakistan will share its expertise and resources to help rebuild Gaza. He made these remarks during a joint press conference with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.

Abdelatty said Egypt looks forward to Pakistan’s participation in the upcoming international conference on Gaza’s recovery and reconstruction.

Ishaq Dar said both countries reviewed regional developments, with a special focus on the situation in Gaza.
