The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) announced on Wednesday that 15 wildlife animals were born at Safari Park, calling it an important milestone in the park’s efforts to create a healthier and more sustainable environment for wildlife.

According to KMC, the park welcomed one mouflon, four Sindh ibex, four blackbucks, two chitals (spotted deer), one horse, two fallow deer, and one white fallow deer.

The veterinary team conducted thorough medical check-ups on the newly born animals and confirmed they are in excellent health.

Spokesperson Daniyal Siyal said the park has also made special care arrangements to ensure the animals’ continued well-being.

Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab instructed the relevant departments to provide extra care and maintain a sustainable habitat for the newborn wildlife.

He expressed his happiness over the development and said he was pleased to announce the birth of 15 wildlife species at Safari Park.

“Their arrival not only enhances the beauty and diversity of the park but also stands as proof of the healthy and nurturing environment we have created for them. These efforts reflect our commitment to expanding the park’s wildlife capacity and improving the overall ecosystem,” he said.
