Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has ordered steps to give the Punjabi language a central place in education, culture, and public life.
A meeting was held in Lahore under the chairmanship of Maryam Nawaz in which the sectors of environment, forests, wildlife, fisheries, tourism, archaeology, sports and labor were examined.

Apart from this, Maryam Nawaz has also ordered to hold championship events every month to promote sports and young talent.
The Chief Minister directed that a 3-marla plot scheme be prepared for 20,000 workers in Jhang and Kamalia, and that tree plantation be carried out along railway tracks, roads, and canals.
The Chief Minister directed to open school grounds for the public in the evening, provide 44 buses to girls’ colleges soon, and install an alarm system to prevent forest fires.
In addition, the meeting gave in-principle approval to the procedure for appointing the chairman, secretary and controller of education boards.
