Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif congratulated his party leaders on their victories in Punjab’s by-elections.

In a tweet, PM Shehbaz Sharif said, “By the boundless grace and mercy of Allah, in the by-elections, the public has expressed its trust in the Pakistan Muslim League-N’s commitment to development, stability, and public welfare, for which we are grateful to the people.”

He added that these are the results “of the timeless leadership of Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the hard work of Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the province’s progress and prosperity. In the remaining by-election constituencies, InshaAllah, the public’s decision will also favour the League, because the people of Pakistan seek development, prosperity, and peace, rather than lies and chaos.”
