Pakistan crushes Zimbabwe by 69 runs in T20 Tri-Series clash

Rawalpindi, November 23, 2025 – Pakistan won big. They secured a 69-run victory over Zimbabwe. This was the 4th Match of the T20I Tri-Series today. The home team posted an imposing total. They reached 195/5 in 20 overs. They restricted Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe made only 126 all out in 19 overs.

Pakistan’s batting excelled. Two brilliant half-centuries powered the team. Opener Sahibzada Farhan scored a brisk 63 runs. He faced 41 balls. Former captain Babar Azam anchored the innings. He hit a classy 74 runs. He faced 52 deliveries. Fakhar Zaman provided late fireworks. He smashed an unbeaten 27 runs. He faced just 10 balls. This helped Pakistan to a formidable score.

Zimbabwe’s chase started poorly. It never recovered. Wickets fell often. The team was quickly 60/7. Spinner Usman Tariq was the bowling star for Pakistan. He delivered a sensational spell and took 4 wickets. He gave up only 18 runs from 4 overs. Mohammad Nawaz was economical too. He secured two wickets for 21 runs. Naseem Shah claimed one wicket. Mohammad Wasim got one wicket. Faheem Ashraf also claimed one wicket.

Usman Tariq earned Player of the Match. This was a well-deserved award. His match-winning effort was remarkable. It included a hat-trick. This hat-trick dismantled Zimbabwe’s middle order. Babar Azam was named CRICINFO’s Most Valuable Player (MVP). This was for his significant batting contribution. He scored 74 runs. Sikandar Raza was the highest-ranked Zimbabwean player. He made the MVP list.

This commanding win solidified Pakistan’s position. They lead the T20 Tri-Series. The clinical performance was clear. Both batting and bowling demonstrated their strength.
