DG ISPR addresses QAU on defense and social media

ISLAMABAD: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry Wednesday visited Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, where he held a special session with the university’s faculty and students.

The arrival of DG ISPR was warmly welcomed by both students and professors. During the session, he shed light on Pakistan’s internal situation, national defense, and the professional role of the Pakistan Army.

He also briefed students about ongoing propaganda on social media and highlighted the factual realities behind it.

The university’s Vice Chancellor praised DG ISPR, stating, “Regarding India, the DG ISPR had said that the world would witness our response, and indeed, the world has seen the armed forces’ response. Pakistan’s military not only defeated India and its army but also its technology.”

Students and faculty attending the session expressed that the meeting had completely clarified many of their doubts. The faculty emphasized, “We are not Punjabi, Pashtun, Sindhi, or Balochi first; we are Pakistanis first.”

They added that the session was highly effective, providing valuable insights to the students. Students from every district and tehsil of Pakistan were present.

DG ISPR also addressed students’ questions on misinformation with detailed explanations. Students expressed their unity and pride, saying, “We are Pakistanis, and the Army is among us. We stand with the Pakistan Armed Forces and salute them.”
