The US rap star Cardi B has given birth to her fourth child. It’s her first child with American footballer Stefon Diggs. The Grammy winner posted the news to Instagram saying “I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else.”
Cardi B also known as Belcalis Almanzar has three children with her estranged husband Offset. In July 2024, she petitioned to divorce him. She has kept the details about the birth private. However, a spokesmen informed People magazine that both mother and baby are well and happy.
Recently, Cardi B dropped her second album Am I The Drama? She even requested the fans to back the album in an effort to have the money to afford nappies. In her Instagram, Cardi also posted a video of her single Hello, insinuating a new life following her break-up with Offset. She explained that being a better person helps her provide her children with the love and life they should have.
She informed her 163 million followers in a letter: “This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds me against everything meant to get in my way,”.
Cardi B is already preparing a tour for her new album. She is also working on her mind and body to provide a lifetime performance to the fans.
Stefon Diggs has been dating Cardi B about a year. He revealed the child’s gender at a red-carpet event earlier this month.
This is the second child of Diggs; Diggs has a 9-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Cardi B and Diggs seem to be eager to begin this new life with each other, with balancing parenthood, music, and life after overcoming the challenges of the past.
