The government has announced revised petroleum prices for one day. According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs0.35 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs5.71 per litre.
The Petroleum Division also issued a notification confirming the revised prices, stating that the cost of high-speed diesel has been raised while petrol has been made slightly cheaper.
Under the new rates, the price of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs5.71 per litre, taking it to Rs360.06 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of petrol has been cut by Rs0.35 per litre, bringing the new retail price to Rs315.80 per litre.
According to the Petroleum Division, the revised prices of petrol and diesel have been set for one day based on recommendations made by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
