ICC releases new white-ball men’s rankings

LAHORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the latest men’s white-ball rankings, with India maintaining its dominance at the top of the ODI team standings. Australia holds second place, England remains third, while Pakistan has slipped to seventh.

In the ODI batting rankings, India’s Rohit Sharma continues to lead the chart, followed by New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell, who climbed three spots to secure third place. Pakistan’s Babar Azam dropped one position to fifth, while Virat Kohli retained sixth place. Pakistan’s Salman Ali Agha made notable progress, jumping nine spots to reach 31st position.

Among bowlers, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan remains the top-ranked ODI bowler. Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi, however, slipped one spot to 15th.

In T20 rankings, Babar Azam improved significantly, moving up nine places to 30th among batters. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Farhan Sahibzada fell out of the top ten, now sitting at 11th position.

For T20 bowlers, India’s Varun Chakravarthy claimed the top spot, while Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed holds the eighth position. Shaheen Shah Afridi also gained three places to move up to 13th in the rankings.
