Former Pakistan cricketer and Swing King Wasim Akram has named young prospect Ali Raza as the next future fast-bowling star.
Pakistan, a country which is famous to produce powerful and fierce fast bowlers over the year, had Wasim Akram also as one of the great Swing King. In his recent interview on the private media channel, he said that he sees great potential in a 17-years old young boy, Ali Raza, who recently represented the Pakistan U19 team.
Speaking on a private media channel, Wasim Akram explained in detail about the qualities of Raza, saying that Raza has what it takes to make his mark in international cricket. Wasim Akram also said that Ali can be a good fit for ODI and T20.
Ali Raza received significant attention at PSL 10 when playing with Peshawar Zalmi through 12 wickets in 9 matches. His notable performance of 4/21 did headlines, and he became a future star all over Pakistan.

As a result, Rauf’s total reaches four demerit points in 24 months, triggering two suspension points. Consequently, this suspension will prevent Haris Rauf from participating in Pakistan’s ODI games against South Africa on November 4 and 6, 2025.
