Three minors have lost their lives in two different road accidents, the private media reported.
Police said that a vehicle hit a motorbike near the Sabzi Mandi area, killing a four-year-old child. The body was transferred to Jinnah Hospital.
On the same day in the Manghopir area of the city, two children lost their lives in a separate accident.
According to police, the ages of the children were between 12 and 15 years old. They were unable to be identified right away; however, their bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital.
Police have launched an investigation to find out the reasons behind the accident in which two children lost their lives.
Earlier in the morning on Thursday, a motorcyclist lost his life when a dumper truck collided with the motorcycle.
After the investigation, police confirmed the identity of the man as 40-year-old Muhammad Iqrar, son of Muhammad Israr. His body was transferred to Jinnah Hospital for official processing.
After the accident, an angry crowd burned the dumper. The fire brigade arrived at the spot to put out the fire.
At least 546 individuals lost their lives in the first seven months of this year in traffic accidents.
According to the data issued by Rescue officials that 8136 people got injured and 165 people died in various road accidents in the same time period. Mainly, heavy vehicles were responsible for these accidents.
