ISLAMABAD: Another propaganda attempt by Indian media hostile to Pakistan has been exposed. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan issued a clear, fact-based clarification, once again debunking the deceptive narrative propagated by India.
The Indian government and its media outlets went to the extent of involving their own president in a fabricated story, crossing all limits of credibility.
Republic TV falsely claimed that Pakistan had arrested Indian Air Force pilot Shivangi Singh. The channel broadcast photos of Singh alongside the Indian president, attempting to lend credibility to the fabricated story attributed to Pakistan.
According to Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the country never claimed the capture of any Indian pilot during Operation Banyan al-Marsous.
Since May 7, 2025, Pakistan has not handed over any pilot to India. The Ministry reaffirmed that no such transfer has occurred.
The DG of ISPR, during a press conference on May 11, 2025, explicitly stated that no Indian pilot is in Pakistan’s custody and that all related news is entirely fabricated and baseless.
Indian propaganda machinery is reportedly using lies and deception to cover up governmental failures. Previously, pro-government media outlets in India have circulated numerous unfounded, absurd, and fake reports, only to be publicly discredited.
