‘We will resolve differences through talks,’ Mohsin Naqvi meets Iran’s deputy interior minister

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has met with Afghan Deputy Interior Minister Ibrahim Sadr in Iran. Mohsin Naqvi mentioned that we will resolve differences through talks like brotherly countries.

The Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Afghan Deputy Interior Minister on the sidelines of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Interior Ministers’ Meeting in Tehran.

Speaking to Iranian TV on this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi stated that differences occur even at home, and we will resolve them through talks, like brotherly nations.

Earlier, Mohsin Naqvi met with Iranian President Masoud Peshkeshian. The Iranian president stressed the need to reduce tensions in the region and avoid any conflict, saying that Iran is ready for all kinds of cooperation to solve differences between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The Iranian president noted that it is important for Muslim countries to maintain their unity and brotherhood and stand against common enemies.

On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi welcomed Iran’s role in reducing tensions between Islamabad and Kabul and said that constructive negotiations are underway with the Afghan government, and we stress the peaceful resolution of differences through dialogue. We should not allow conflict to increase between the countries of the region.
