LONDON: Pakistan’s young athlete Fatima Naseem has made the nation proud once again by breaking the world record previously held by England’s Liberty Barros, known globally as the “Flexible Girl.”
Fatima achieved 47 stretching moves in one minute, surpassing Liberty Barros’ previous record of 42. The Guinness World Records organization has officially verified and published Fatima’s seventh world record on its website.
At just 12 years old, Fatima Naseem now holds the title of the most decorated female athlete from Pakistan in terms of Guinness World Records.
Liberty Barros, who hails from the United Kingdom, was previously recognized as the most flexible woman in the world and has performed on several international platforms, including America’s Got Talent, Spain’s Got Talent, and Britain’s Got Talent.
Fatima, daughter of Pakistan’s multiple world record holder Rashid Naseem, expressed her joy and pride after achieving the milestone. “Breaking the record of such a famous athlete was not easy, but with hard work and dedication, I was able to do it for Pakistan,” she said.
