Kakul: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir during his address to the passing out parade held at Kakul Academy affirmed that with Allah’s help and the support of the people, no one would be allowed to take even an inch of our homeland.
Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir spoke in detail about Pakistan’s position in national defense, national unity, regional security situation and global politics in a very passionate and comprehensive manner and said that Pakistan’s armed forces have always not only vigorously confronted internal and external challenges but also thwarted the nefarious intentions of the enemy on every front. He said, “Today’s young cadets display the same enthusiasm, determination and dedication that have always been the hallmark of our army.”
Describing Operation ‘Bunyan-e-Marsoos’ as a national and military success, the Field Marshal said that the Pakistan Army demonstrated its full military, cyber and intelligence capabilities in this operation. “Shooting down Rafale aircraft, targeting several enemy bases including S-400, and adopting a multi-pronged war strategy are a testament to the capabilities and preparedness of our army.”
According to the Field Marshal, the role of the youth of Pakistan against Indian aggression is commendable, who stood by the side of the Pakistani army at every opportunity. According to him, the Pakistan Army has proven its defensive and military capabilities in every field and has left no stone unturned in protecting the country’s sovereignty.
The Field Marshal also expressed serious concern over the use of Afghan soil against Pakistan and demanded that the Taliban administration should prevent its land from becoming a safe haven for terrorist groups. Pakistan wants good relations with its neighboring country, but there can be no compromise on national security.
In his speech, the Field Marshal also spoke openly about the atrocities committed against Kashmiris and Palestinians. He stated that Pakistan maintains a principled position on Kashmir and urges resolving the issue in accordance with UN resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people
Regarding Palestine, he called Israel’s atrocities a “stain on the conscience of humanity” and strongly supported the two-state solution, in which there would be an independent Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders, with Jerusalem as its capital.
