Rawalpindi: On the third day of second and final test match between Pakistan and South Africa, the South African team was bowled out for 404 in the first innings.
The South African team made a brilliant comeback taking a lead of 71 runs in the first innings. Today’s play began with South Africa with 4 wickets out and 185 runs behind. Verreynne was bowled out by Asif in the very first over followed by Tristan Stubbs and Simon Harmer.
Senuran Muthusamy scored a career best and unbeaten innings of 86 runs while Tristan Stubbs scored 76 runs. Asif Afridi took five wickets for Pakistan.
Baber Azam and Muhammad Rizwan are on the crease, Baber Aam was able to score an unbeaten 49 while Muhammad Rizwan is on an unbeaten 16, the third day play is concluded with Pakistan leading with 23 runs, with overall 94 runs with a loss of four wickets.
Earlier Pakistan had scored 333 runs in its first innings, in which captain Shan Masood played a brilliant innings of 87 runs, while Saud Shakeel played an innings of 66 and Abdullah Shafiq played an innings of 57 runs. South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj took 7 wickets.
