Lahore: Fast bowler Zaman Khan suffered a shoulder injury during the National T20 Tournament, making his participation in PSL 11 uncertain.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Zaman Khan got injured during the match between Peshawar and Faisalabad. He dislocated his shoulder joint. PCB has directed him to report to the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.
The PCB medical panel will plan Zaman Khan’s recovery and rehabilitation. The board stated that restoring his fitness may take 4 to 6 weeks.
It is worth noting that Zaman Khan was included in Rawalpindi’s squad for PSL 11.
Zaman Khan is a young Pakistani international cricketer known for his pace bowling and unorthodox slingy action, often compared to former Sri Lankan bowler Lasith Malinga.He made his international debut for Pakistan in 2023.
