Noman Ali Leads Pakistan’s Bowling Charge


Pakistan’s top-ranked Test bowler Noman Ali shone in the two-Test series against South Africa, taking 14 wickets at an average of 23.07. He achieved his third 10-wicket haul in Test cricket during the Lahore Test, guiding Pakistan to a 93-run win. In Rawalpindi, he added four more wickets and 17 runs, finishing as the series’ leading wicket-taker.

Rashid Khan Dominates Limited-Overs Action


Rashid Khan stood out in T20I and ODI series against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. In five T20Is, he claimed nine wickets at an exceptional economy of 4.82, highlighted by 4/18 against Bangladesh and 3/9 versus Zimbabwe. In the ODI series against Bangladesh, he took 11 wickets at just 2.73 runs per over, helping Afghanistan achieve a 3-0 sweep. He also contributed 33 runs across formats, underlining his all-round impact.

Senuran Muthusamy Excels for South Africa


Muthusamy impressed in the series with Pakistan, both bat and ball. He took 11 wickets across the two Tests, including career-best figures of 11/174, and scored an unbeaten 89 in the second Test, helping South Africa secure victory. His all-round performance earned him the Player of the Series award.

Meanwhile, in August 2025, India’s Mohammed Siraj won the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for his match-winning spell against England at The Oval, even though it was the only fixture he played that month. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill secured the award for July 2025 following his standout performances in a thrilling Test series against England, fending off strong competition from England captain Ben Stokes and South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder.
