WEBDESK: Pakistan’s youngest YouTuber, Muhammad Shiraz, has transformed the future of his village school by using his social media earnings to rebuild it into a modern learning facility.
What was once a rundown and broken structure is now a safe, well-equipped school complete with proper classrooms, furniture, and a playground. Children from the area can now study in a supportive environment, thanks to Shiraz’s efforts.
The young vlogger, who became famous for his charming videos showing rural life in Skardu alongside his father and younger sister Muskaan, has built an online community of 1.8 million subscribers with more than 85 million views. His popularity also earned him the YouTube Gold Play Button.
In a recent Instagram reel, Shiraz shared clips of the old school building, showing cracked walls and poor facilities. The video then revealed the remarkable transformation, with new classrooms, a dedicated play area, and swings for children.
“People often ask what I gained from social media,” Shiraz wrote in the caption. “We turned a broken village school into a modern one.”
He also encouraged other content creators to use their platforms for good. “Work hard and help others,” he urged, adding that success can bring opportunities to change lives.
Shiraz’s initiative has been praised across Pakistan as proof that digital platforms can be powerful tools for positive change, particularly in remote regions like Gilgit-Baltistan.
