A man allegedly killed his Tik Toker wife following a domestic dispute in Islamabad on Sunday before taking his own life.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Humak police station. Police officials responded to reports of gunfire and found the woman dead at the scene and the man critically wounded from a gunshot to the head.
Police identified the woman as Sana Javed, a resident of Attock known on social media as Pashto-language TikToker “Out Lofera.”
The victim’s husband Muhammad Sadiq was also present at the scene with severe gunshot injury and was shifted to a hospital where he succumbed to the injuries.
According to the FIR, initial findings suggested Sadiq shot his wife before turning the weapon on himself.
Investigators said Sadiq had previously served as a constable in Attock Police but had been dismissed from service.
Police said the couple had a history of frequent domestic disputes and that the shooting appeared to have stemmed from a domestic dispute.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
