Stranger Things 5 volume 2

WEBDESK: The trailer for highly anticipated Stranger Things 5: Volume 2 has been released. The trailer offers a grim look at what lies ahead for ‘Eleven’ and her friends.

The trailer opens with Hawkins, with familiar faces exhausted and bruised. A very haunting realization sets in for the characters. Everything they had assumed about the Upside Down was incorrect.

Volume 2 will be premiering on Christmas day and will consist of three new episodes. The episodes will be pushing the group into their most dangerous battle yet. In the trailer Joyce Byers firmly rejects the belief of Will Byers that they have already lost. She insists that “it’s not over” setting the theme for the upcoming episodes.

The preview is dominated by action-heavy moments, it includes an electrified Demogorgon, vow between Steve and Dustin which hints that everyone will not get out alive and many violent confrontations.

The trailer is also hinting towards a major shift in power. Will might be positioned as a counter-force to Vecna due to his long-suspected connection to the Upside Down.

Ross Duffer, series co-creator previously revealed that the final season intentionally focuses back on Will as he was the first child taken.

Will’s growing abilities feel both dangerous and inevitable. His new-found powers may be able to finally level the playing field, a sentiment echoed by cast members. The group now has something they had never before: another weapon as powerful as Eleven.

Vecna declares the dawn of a “new word” at the end of the trailer. The stage is now set for the high stake and emotionally charged finale.
