Sindh authorities on Friday directed all private schools in the province to relax the uniform policy during winter.
In a statement, Professor Rafia Mallah, Additional Director at the Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions, Sindh, said schools must put students’ health, comfort, and safety first during the cold season.
Authorities have instructed schools to let children wear any warm clothing they need, such as sweaters, jackets, coats, blazers, hats, socks, and other winter wear, even if it is not part of the official uniform.
The decision, shared across the province, aims to keep students safe and comfortable during harsh weather. Schools have been advised to follow the instructions in true spirit and not impose any restrictions on warm clothing.
The directorate also urged school administrations to fully cooperate and allow students to dress suitably for the cold to protect their health during classes.
