Web Desk: Witnesses and video footage showed extensive damage to buildings in two Iranian cities following explosions whose sources remain unclear, according to available accounts.

In the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, a video commentator said a building had been hit, describing the blast as unusually loud. The footage captured the aftermath of the incident, though it did not show the moment of impact.

Meanwhile, video from Ahvaz showed a building with severe structural damage consistent with a powerful explosion. Floors appeared to have collapsed, while large sections of concrete were shattered, leaving interior spaces exposed.

The extent of the destruction indicated significant force, though officials have not released details on what caused the blast.

Authorities have not identified the source of the explosions in either city. No official statements were immediately available, and it remained unclear whether the incidents were connected.

As a result, assessments of responsibility or cause could not be independently verified.
